Spring-Green Lawn Care is proud to announce its newest Franchise Owner, Scott Hodge of R&H Land Designs, Inc. in San Antonio, TX.
Hodge, a long-time business owner in the green industry, is excited to diversify with Spring-Green because he knows it will give him the opportunity to take care of customers over the long run. “The beauty of providing lawn care is that it is recurring,” said Hodge, “So we’re not just building something then walking away. Now we’ll be able to help the customer by maintaining their lawn too.”
Hodge has been involved in many aspects of the green industry, from landscape design to build to irrigation, since he started Superior Irrigation in 1999. In 2004 he decided to incorporate, and changed the name of the business to R&H Land Designs, Inc. When Hodge first started his business, he was working for someone else simultaneously, but as his business grew he made the decision to focus solely on building his company. “Trying to run the entire thing by myself is a huge challenge,” said Hodge.
That’s where Spring-Green comes in. “Spring-Green will provide support and marketing,” said Hodge. “Two things I’ve never had, never done.” Hodge chose Spring-Green because he appreciates the family atmosphere and knows it will give him the assistance he needs to expand. Hodge’s business up until now has grown almost entirely through word of mouth, but he’s looking for more. “I have large goals and I plan on hitting them,” said Hodge.
Hodge plans for a seamless integration with Spring-Green. “If I don’t know it, I have the resources to find answers,” said Hodge. “I know what my drive is, I know what I’m going to do. My team is ready to do it.”
“It is an exciting time for Spring-Green. Green industry business owners are recognizing the value in our partnership and understanding how their existing businesses can work in conjunction with a Spring-Green franchise,” said James Young, President of Spring-Green. “Expanding to San Antonio with Scott is a perfect example of a proven owner understanding the power of combining resources to propel them further and faster than they could do independently.”
