Plainfield, IL (PRWEB) January 31, 2013
Spring-Green Lawn Care has started a 15-city tour hosting professional development seminars and peer group meetings for franchise owners and their employees. The training and communication is led by Harold Enger, director of education at Spring-Green, board of director’s member of the Illinois Professional Lawn Care Association and the manager of Spring-Green’s Online Learning Center.
The seminars cover a variety of topics specific to lawn care and running a successful business. Enger provides training to the franchise owners’ employees on grass and weed types, lawn diseases and solutions for these problems. The sessions also provide advice on business issues like customer service, time management to achieve maximum profit, taking care of the customer and more.
“These professional development sessions provide a huge benefit and added value to franchise owners,” said President James Young. “Harold has been involved in the green industry for 35 years so by sending Harold across the country to meet with franchise owners and their teams, we are giving them a chance to learn from a true lawn care expert. These seminars lead to more educated team members, greater customer service and provide the support and training franchise owners need to be successful.”
Enger has been with Spring-Green Lawn Care since 1997 and was promoted to director of education in 2011. The new position allows him to provide an even greater amount of influence within his area of expertise. In addition to training programs, Enger develops and implements educational materials including the content on Spring-Green’s YouTube Channel to help improve the brand loyalty of Spring-Green customers.
