We are pleased to announce that Spring-Green Lawn Care director of training Harold Enger has been reelected to the Project EverGreen board of directors for 2014.
Project EverGreen is a national non-profit educational organization committed to preserving and enhancing green spaces in communities. The organization works to restore and repair parks, schools and public green spaces in cities and communities around the country. It has truly been a pleasure to be involved with Project EverGreen, and Harold’s reelection to the reaffirms our commitment to causes and organizations that protect and improve the environment. With the wealth of green industry knowledge we have between our franchisees and our corporate employees, we are dedicated to lending that expertise to worthy causes.
Project EverGreen was involved with numerous projects in 2013, including donating services for hazardous tree removal from Liberty Island after Hurricane Sandy, and their ongoing efforts with GreenCare for Troops, which connects green industry professionals with men and women in the armed forces serving away from home, and SnowCare for Troops, which helps provide free snow and ice removal to military families. We remain committed to continued involvement with non-profit organizations working to improve our environment and our communities.
We also congratulate Harold on his reelection to the board, as his insight and expertise have contributed to the success of Project EverGreen over the past several years. Harold’s experience is also invaluable to our franchise organization. During January, February and March, Harold travels the US offering in-person training in almost 20 cities to all of our franchisees and their employees; he’s always available through the rest of the year for any questions from our entire organization.
