Weber signs another 10 years with Spring-Green

That is just what Duane Weber, franchise owner servicing two territories around Dyersville, Iowa, did when he extended his franchise rights through 2025. Weber started with Spring-Green in 1990.

Weber’s relationship with Spring-Green began when he started working part-time for a friend that owned a lawn care franchise. Over time, he came to recognize all that being a Spring-Green franchise owner offered and had the opportunity to buy that same franchise. Since then, he has grown the business, adding a new facility in 1998 and a second territory in 2002. “I started with me, my wife and a truck,” Weber recalled about his early days as a Spring-Green franchise owner. Today he has a fleet of trucks and has established a team to help him meet the growing needs of the market, offering a full suite of lawn fertilization, weed control, insect control, and related services.

As it is with many Spring-Green franchise owners, Weber has found the Spring-Green franchise support center to be a critical key to his success. “Support is the most valuable part of the relationship,” he said. “I didn’t have experience owning a green industry business prior to joining Spring-Green,” Weber explained, but as a franchise owner he has found the marketing, operational and financial support Spring-Green offers to be instrumental to his ability to provide great customer service to their lawn care business. “My wife and I have been able to retain our customers and build long-lasting relationships in our community because of the assistance Spring-Green has provided us through the years.” Green industry veteran or new to lawn care, Spring-Green offers a path to successful franchise ownership.
